Leesburg Regional Medical Center recently announced plans to expand some of its cardiac services to The Villages Regional Hospital, which is operated by The Villages Tri-County Medical Center, a subsidiary of Leesburg Regional Medical Center Inc. Plans include a 10,500-square-foot cardiac catheterization suite, which would include a cardiac cath lab, eight-bed patient preparation-and-recovery area, physician reading room, staff/physician locker room, echocardiogram room and family/patient consult room.
